After teammate Mason Greenwood had all of his criminal charges against him dropped, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag asked his players to concentrate on football.
The 21-year-old's charges were dropped, according to the Crown Prosecution Service on Thursday, after key witnesses withdrew their participation.
Greenwood is still on the club's suspended list, so United will "conduct its own process" before making a decision about the next step.
Ten Hag stated, "We have to always focus on the game, no matter what."
In January 2022, allegations regarding images and videos led to Greenwood's arrest.
Later, he was accused of assault with actual bodily harm, controlling and coercive behavior, and attempted rape.
The forward, who has only played one England game, was banned from playing or training with the Old Trafford club just hours after the allegations surfaced at the beginning of 2022.
Ten Hag responded, "Yes, I have something to say about Greenwood." No. Nothing. I'm referring to the club's statement, so I can't add anything."
The Dutchman added, when asked if he had spoken with the England striker and if he was involved in the club process: As previously stated, I am unable to comment on the procedure at this time.
"I can't say anything about it; I refer to the club's statement and can't add anything at this time."
Greenwood will not resume playing or training until the club's process is complete, according to the BBC.
Ten Hag added that "not to get distracted by anything" was his and the players' responsibility.
He stated: We are human beings, and there are problems from time to time. Despite our differences from robots, we must concentrate on our work.
"When you run into problems, you have to deal with them as a club and as a team.
"We have high standards and values, and we must live up to those high standards and values, which provides a foundation if you have a good spirit and culture."
